Remembering Ian

Long-time listeners will remember former morning show host Ian Punnett. He was part of the foundation of 107.1 and a few years into his tenure Ian was joined by his wife Margery on-air.

Whether you remember it as A Balanced Breakfast with Ian & Margery, the Ian & Margery Show or any other name, you’ll surely remember the joy and laughter they brought to the Twin Cities.

Sadly, we lost Ian in December of 2023 and didn’t have the chance to say a proper goodbye. On Wednesday, March 13th, we will spend the day laughing, crying, and celebrating the well-lived life of our beloved friend and colleague Ian Punnett. As we pay tribute to Ian, we’ll also be fundraising for a charity that was near to his heart, Ronald McDonald House Charities – Upper Midwest.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
